White Tea 白茶

White tea is the rarest and most delicate of the tea classes. The buds used are the highly-prized first flush of spring, when the weather is coolest. The tender young budsets are quickly prepared to preserve their flavors, and the resulting tea is lightly colored, but extremely clean and smooth, with delicate but distinct aromas and flavors tending towards the floral and fragrant. White tea is valued for its excellent clean finish and extremely smooth character.
